Description:
Gas Facility Engineer Job Description Our client a privately-held, Houston-based energy company is seeking to hire a Gas Facility Engineer to be based in the downtown Houston or Midland location. The successful candidate will become a critical member of a small, tight-knit midstream team in a fast paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial work environment. This highly visible role will require extensive interaction and coordination with management. Responsibilities • Provide expert judgment for the design and implementation of gas handling, treating, and processing facilities. • Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research into emerging technology in the field. • Monitoring, reporting and supervision of facility construction projects. • Makes recommendations to development and design criteria to reduce expenses, control cost and economically maximize production. Skills/ Education Requirements • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. • 10-15 years current experience in facility/project engineering skills including project scoping/conceptual studies, project management/coordination, procurement, processing, and treatment facilities and cost estimation/control and scheduling in the oil and gas industry. • Comfort with working in a small group. • Ability to travel and coordinate projects with personnel in other offices. • Must have Mid-Stream operator experience with "Cradle to Grave" experience of Gas Facilities • 1/3 travel time
