Title: Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) Location: on a vessel traveling through Malaysia – will fly candidate into nearest port to board vessel Rotational: 42 days on boat / vessel / 42 days off OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (OCM) JOB DESCRIPTION: The Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) responsibilities include (but are not limited to): § Overall responsible person in charge of above deck operations crew, and other support vessels assigned within spread. § Supervising the overall safe installation of the project as specified and determined in the Project Installation Procedure, liaising with offshore operations and PMT, daily to ensure continuity of works and to report on progress § Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety Standards and Work Practices § Familiarity with the contents of the offshore operations HSES procedures , ensuring that all supervisory personnel are also aware of the procedures § Following the instructions and responsibilities within the Emergency Response Procedures and advising crew of their responsibilities § Ensuring all ABC Corp. Offshore Operations Procedures are followed § Chair interface meetings/pre shift meetings with all shift supervisors to discuss planned events, and to ensure regular lines of communications are adhered to by all supervisors to maximize safety/efficiency/productivity § Ensuring manning levels are maintained for safe operations of the projects REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: § Minimum 15 years experience in the offshore construction industry § Extended knowledge in Marine and Subsea operations with at least 10-15 years experience in a senior offshore role § OIM or OV Certificate/Training/DP Awareness § High school graduate § Ability to lead teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills § Valid Offshore Medical § BOSIET Training or Equivalent (OPITO approved) § Fluent both in spoken and written English
