Description:
Job Title: Sr. Production Analyst (Gas Plants) Location: Houston, TX Summary: The Production Analyst will input, allocate and analyze operated and non-operated volumes. This individual will be a results-oriented professional, able to make sound recommendations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Job Description: The Production Analyst will accurately input oil and gas volumes from third party gas plant statements, allocate the volumes and provide analysis on any variances. Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely filing of state production reports while adhering to compliance requirements and interacting with regulatory agencies to resolve discrepancies. Work with Revenue Accounting to resolve issues and correct problems. Provide support to Operations & Engineering on any production data, which includes the preparation of graphs/reports. This position will interface extensively with Revenue Accounting, Production Operations and Marketing and Owner Relations. Work on special projects as requested. Key Responsibilities: • Receive third party plant statements and enter data into Monthly Booking Spreadsheet • Populate TOW and the TOW NGL module • Run allocations, verify and analyze results • Send allocated results to Revenue and work with them to resolve issues • Populate accrual spreadsheet to determine shrink and NGL yield factors • Run and analyze daily reports • Complete weekly activity report • Maintain or create system set-up to reflect physical flow • Prepare State Regulatory Reports • Develop, implement and maintain procedures for Production Services processes • Additional duties as required by management Knowledge & Skills: • Microsoft Windows and Office 2007/2010 skills, especially Excel and Access • Knowledge of TOWcs (production allocation system) is a plus • Texas and other state reporting experience, desired • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills , hands on, self-motivated, dependable and well-organized Education & Experience: • BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline • 10+ years’ experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years’ of Revenue and Production Accounting experience
