Description:
Position Description The Global SAP / HRIS Manager is a position within the Corporate HR Team. The primary focus of this position is to coordinate Human Resource Information System (HRIS) activities for HR developed processes and applications while working closely with the Information Technology (IT) Team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. • Regularly define requirements and track the development, testing and implementation efforts of Human Resources Staff (HR), HRIS and Information Technology (IT) resources dedicated to HR initiatives. • Process or load data updates in the HRIS. • Produce ad hoc reports. • Assist in developing and implementing system configuration changes. • Solve problems and complex issues with limited guidance. • Serve as a business partner with others in Human Resources, IT and the management of the ABC Corp Business Units. • Other duties as assigned. Job level will be based on the successful candidate’s experience and skills Position Requirements • At least 5 years of HRIS, HR Generalist, or related IT Experience. • Strong analytical skills required to identify and resolve business and HR/Benefit issues. • Maintains proper configuration in HR systems, including business rules and workflow processes and manages workflow for various forms employee status changes (i.e. new hires, terminations, promotions, address changes, name changes, etc.). • Monitors and supports ongoing maintenance of HRIS external applications including needs analysis, project planning, requirements specification, customization, testing, training and implementation, within the IT and HR Business established guidelines results to facilitate information flow between HR systems and external systems. • Perform internal and external system audits to ensure data integrity and efficient processing of HR data. Develop business rules to clean and validate data to maintain ongoing data integrity. • Ability to manage projects and processes with many elements beginning to end. • Must maintain strict confidentiality. • Ability to interface and communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization. • Understanding of databases and basic data file structures. Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge: • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation. • Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Experience using BI tools such as Microsoft PowerPivot. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Systems implementation experience. • Familiarity with SAP products is preferred. • Experience using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel is strongly preferred. • PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Educational Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 5+ years’ experience in HR discipline
